Examination Pattern for PSSSB Steno typist & Jr Scale Stenographer Recruitment Notification

• Steno-Typist Post: The dictation test of the candidates for the post of Stenotypist will be conducted at a speed of 80 words per minute and for this test. There will be a total of 400 words (two paragraphs of 200–200 words) which will have to be transcribed at the rate of 15 words per minute and 8% of mistakes will be acceptable.

• Junior Scale Steno Post: Candidates for the post of Junior Scale Stenographer will be tested for Stenography Dictation at the speed of 100 words per minute. There will be a total of 500 words (two paragraphs of 250-250 words), which will have to be transcribed at the rate of 20 words per minute. There will be a paragraph that has to be transcribed with 10 words per minute. 8% of mistakes will be acceptable.
