Examination Pattern

The Instructions for Computer Based Test (CBT) as under :-

1) Computer Based test (Online Mode) will be conducted in two three session on a single/ multiple day(s) of 2 hours duration.

2) The question Paper will be in Objective Multiple Choice Type having 120 question containing 96 question related to post discipline for which the candidates has applied and 24 question on general aptitude .The standard of question for the online examination will be generally in confirmity with the education standards prescribed for the posts. 

3) The question paper will be set in English & Hindi Only . In case of any diffrence /discrepency/dispute in the questions between English and Hindi , the content of English version shall Prevail .

4) There shall be negative marking in computer based test and Marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer @1/4 (0.25) Mark.

5) Qualifying marks in written test /CBt is prescribed as 40% for UR , 30 % for SC /OBC-NCl /EWS and 25 % for ST. 

6)In case of tie of Marks obtained by more than one candidates , the resolution will be done in following order :

a) The candidate with earlier /older Date of birth will be placed higher i.e the candidate in age seniority will be placed higher .

b) In case of tie as mentioned at (a) above , the candidate with higher pass marks in qualify examination as per eligibility criteria will be placed higher .

7) Appointment of succesful candidates will be subject to verifcation of orignal documents relating to age , qualification , caste experience & Medical fitness certificate issued by the medical aurthories as prescribed undeer the rules of DFCCIL .
