  • Assistant Audit Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University Desirable Qualification: CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ Masters in Commerce/ Masters in Business Studies.

  • Statistical Investigator Grade – II Post:

Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with minimum 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation

  • Compiler Posts:

Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective Subject 

All Other Posts Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or  equivalent

 

  • Application through other mode except  online: Rejected                   
  • Candidate should note down and retain 'Registration-ID' and 'Password' provided to them while making 'One-Time Registration' which is required for filling online application.
  • When application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted 'Provisionally'. Candidate should take printout of the application form for their own records. Printout of the 'Application Form' is not required to be submitted to the Commission at any stage.
  •  The Commission does not accept any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the Commission.
  • Only one online application is allowed to be submitted by a candidate for Combined Graduate Level Examination
  • Applications with illegible/ blurred Photograph/ Signature will be rejected summarily.
  • Request for change/ correction in any particulars in the Application Form, once submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • Candidate should upload his/ her latest colour photograph and signature.
  • The photograph and signature must be uploaded in jpg format.
  •  The digital size of the photograph must be more than 4 KB and less than 20 KB.
  • The digital size of the signature must be more than 1 KB and less than 12 KB.
  • Photo and signature must be clearly visible and photo must be identifiable also.
  • Print out of Application form with attested documents
  • Admit Cards/ Admission Certificates (ACs) for the Examination will be uploaded on the website of the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of the Commission.
  • Admit Cards will not be issued by post for any stage of examination.
  • Information about the Examination indicating the time table and city/ centre of examination for each candidate will be uploaded on the websites of the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of the Commission about two weeks before the date of examination.
  • If any candidate does not find his/ her detail on the website of the Commission, one week before the date of examination, he/ she must immediately contact the concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Office of the commission with proof of having submitted his/ her application.
  • Failure to do so will deprive him/ her of any claim for consideration.
  •  Facility for download of Admit Cards will be available at least one week before the examination on the website of concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Office.
  • Candidates are advised to visit the website of concerned Regional Office and SSC HQ regularly for updates and information about the examination.
  • Intimation Letters and Attestation Forms for the eligible candidates will be notified through newspaper and website.
  • Printed copy of Intimation Letter and Attestation Form is required at the time of admission to the Examination

Documents Required:     

  • Print out of Application form with attested documents:
  1. Degree/ Diploma certificates along with Marks Sheets of all years in support of Educational Qualifications.
  1. The provisional certificate(s) along with marksheets of all semesters/ years.
  1. Matriculation certificate for age proof
  1. Experience certificate(s) wherever required
  1. Valid ID Card (Voter ID Card, DL, Aadhaar Card, etc
  1.  NOC- If you are working.
  1. Discharge Certificate – Ex Servicemen.
  1. Order/letter in respect of equivalent Educational  Qualifications claimed,indicating the authority (with number & date) under which it has been so treated.

 

  • Selection of candidates requires appearance at the time of  Objective type written Test ; Descriptive  Type written Test and Skill test/Typing Test
  • In the objective type test  there will be 2 Tiers i.e. Tier I and Tier II

 

?Tier 1: Process:

SSC CHSL 2019 Tier 1 exam will be conducted in online mode.

Introduction of a descriptive paper of 100 marks within 60 minutes in pen and paper mode.

Reduction in time limit for examination of Tier -I from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.

Tier III will remain same.

No Sectional Cut off.

The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English section.

There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Marks scored by candidates in Tier-I will be normalized and the normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.

The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped.

 

Tier 2: Process:

The exam is of 60 minutes’ duration and carries 100 marks.

The questions are based on 10 level.

The exam is qualifying in nature.

Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will not be evaluated.

The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped or suffer from cerebral palsy.

The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words.

The Paper would comprise writing of Letter /Application writing of approximately 150-200 words. 

The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent. 

The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit.

The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English.

Correct answer carries 1mark

There will be negative marking of 0.25marks for incorrect answers  for all questions

Duration of Paper will be of 60 Minute

 

 Tier 3: Process:

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator (DEO):

Skill Test is mandatory for Data Entry Operators.

No candidate is exempted from appearing in the Skill Test.

Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.

The Speed of “8000 key depressions per hour on computer? will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions as per the given passage.

The duration of the Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes

Printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the Computer.

For the post of DEO in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): The ‘speed of 15000 key depressions per hour on Computer? will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions.

Typing Test for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDCs and Court Clerks:

  • Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi and candidates while applying for the Examination, will have to indicate his/her choice/option for Skill Test Medium in the Application Form.
  • Typing Test will be of qualifying in nature. 
  • It will be administered on the Computer, to be provided by the Commission or any agency authorized by the Commission.
  • Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute. 
  • Candidates opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute.
  • The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the Computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.
  • Visually Handicapped candidates (with 40% disability and above) will be allowed 30 minutes.

 

  • Application Fee:   100/-
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
  • Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC.
  •  If the fee is not received by SSC, status of Application Form is shown as „Incomplete? and this information is printed on the top of the Application Form printout.
  • Further, status of fee payment can be verified at the „Payment Status” link provided in the candidates login screen.
  • Such applications which remain incomplete due 10 to non-receipt of fee will be SUMMARILY REJECTED and no request for consideration of such applications and fee payment after the period specified in the Notice of Examination shall be entertained
  • To pay fee in cash, candidate should take print out of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration.
